Broken Hz is a music production business run by Ray Garrison in Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what we collect when you visit brokenhz.com, apply to work with us, book a call or pay for services.
What we collect
- What you give us: name, email, phone, Instagram handle, song or project links, project details, budget range, and anything you write in the application or booking form.
- Bookings: the time you choose and the details you enter on our Google Calendar booking page.
- Payments: the amount, date, method (Venmo or Cash App) and payment reference. We never see or store your Venmo or Cash App login or bank details.
- Automatically: pages you visit, the ad or link that brought you here (UTM tags and Meta click IDs), and cookies set by the Meta Pixel.
How we use it
- To review your application, contact you, schedule calls and deliver the work.
- To keep records of bookings and payments.
- To send you discounts and updates, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe any time.
- To measure and improve our ads.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how our ads perform. When you apply, book a call or make a payment, we may share that event with Meta along with your email, phone and name in hashed (scrambled) form, plus Meta's click and browser identifiers. We do not share song links, messages, notes or project details. See Meta's Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
Your choices
- Opt out of ad measurement sharing: email ray@brokenhz.com with "Do not share" and we will stop sending your information to Meta.
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link or reply "unsubscribe".
- Access, correct or delete your data: email ray@brokenhz.com. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
Who we share with
Google (Sheets, Calendar, Gmail) to run the business, Meta for ad measurement as described above, and payment apps you choose to use. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Retention and security
We keep application, booking and payment records as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and legal obligations, then delete them. Access is limited to Ray.
